Founded in 2016 and located in La Chaux-de-Fonds, hometown of Swiss watchmaking, Magstein Sàrl is a company specialized in the purchase, reconditioning, and sale of mechanical watch movements. 

Our team ensures that every movement that leaves our workshop is in perfect working order.

In case of reconditioning here are the different steps:

Complete disassembling of the movement

Detection of abnormal friction indicating components to be replaced

Careful cleaning, lubrication and epilamage of the components

Reassembling and fine-tuning the movement in line with brand specifications

We ensure precision of the movements by conducting thorough checks at all stages of the process. Once the reconditioning operations have been completed, a final check of the movements is carried out before they are vacuum-sealed to perfectly preserve them.
